YISAC 2025

Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana and the National Institute of Chemistry, Ljubljana, Slovenia are proud to announce the hosting of The 30^th  Young Investigators’ Seminar on Analytical Chemistry (YISAC 2025)! The traditional scientific meeting for aspiring young researchers (MSc and PhD students) is based on analytical chemistry and its peripheral areas. The seminar is divided into different sections (chromatographic methods, spectroscopy, electrochemical sensors and methods, environmental analysis, etc.). Each section is chaired by two students. The primary goal of YISAC is to provide young analytical chemists with the skills and experience they need for a successful scientific career. This includes helping them to participate in international symposia, present their research findings effectively, and prepare convincing project proposals. The scientific program of the seminar is based exclusively on the oral presentation (approx. 15 minutes), followed by a short discussion with the audience about the presented research results (approx. 5 minutes). The seminar offers participants the unique opportunity to communicate with researchers from the same (and related) fields while enjoying a cultural and social program that includes networking and sightseeing. There are no conference fees; however, participants are responsible for their own expenses, including accommodation and travel costs.
